Animal vaccination campaign targets over 120,000 cattle in Aweil state

Authorities at ministry of agriculture, forestry and animal resources in South Sudan’s Aweil state, announcing animal vaccination which started this week and will end in coming month.

Speaking to Voice News Agency on Wednesday, Peter Jok Dut, director general for department of animal resources in the ministry, said the government and its partners are carrying out the vaccination campaign targeting over 120,000 cattle in the area.

He confirmed the availability of the necessary vaccines against several animal diseases. Arab cattle are also be included in the campaign.

Contracted tellers are preparing face masks at Aweil vocational training center, photo accredited(Voice News Agency) AWEIL.   Government of   South Sudan’s Northern Bahr el Ghazal   state in collaboration with UN agency for development, UNDP, have launched a “face mask” project that is intended to produce huge quantities which shall be used against the virus. N. Bahr el Ghazal’s rule of law forum recommends promotion of human rights, justice

A monthly rule of law forum in South Sudan’s Northern Bahr el Ghazal has on Friday recommended promotion of human rights, justice system and respect of traffic guidelines and regulation for the safety of drivers and other people.  The Executive Director the Wider Aid and Development Agency (WADA-SS), Peter Diing Ngong, said that there are a lot of human rights violations in the state.
