A monthly rule of law forum in South Sudan’s Northern Bahr el Ghazal has on Friday recommended promotion of human rights, justice system and respect of traffic guidelines and regulation for the safety of drivers and other people. The Executive Director the Wider Aid and Development Agency (WADA-SS), Peter Diing Ngong, said that there are a lot of human rights violations in the state. He has also stated that a number of detained youth from small cases is increased at Aweil Central Prison and called for immediate release. “We found that there are high violations human right in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State and we have also found that number of youth is increased in prison due to small cases of which we appealed the government to release the inmates with small cases,” said Diing.
