Media Institute graduates several journalists in South Sudan




(JUBA28 No)S-everal journalists graduated yesterday at Media Development Institute in South Sudan, the 
Institute officials say. Irena Irene, the representative of the Institution expresses commitment 
of the organization to power quality journalism in the Republic of South Sudan.

 “AMDISS has been working to build MDI institutional capacity to provide long-term sustainable       training to both entry-level and working journalists, media managers. AMDISS is working to make MDI into an institutionally well managed and finally self-sustained independent media training institute in South Sudan. It is expected to register on its own and a learning institute independent from AMDISS,’’ she reveals.

The institute is funded by International partners such as: American based- Internews, Norwegian People’s Aid, UNESCO and others.   

Media practitioners in South Sudan face a lot problems some are threatened, harassed and some may face death point as they do their golden efforts to aware all communities on what is happening in the world around them.
