Over 200 people trained on peace and reconciliation in Malek Alel- South Sudan

South Sudan Evangelist Union abbreviated (SSEU) has conducted five days’ training more than two hundred different churches’ members on peace and reconciliation last week. The event was attended by the area county commissioner, intellectuals and community representatives. church members attending an occasion in Aweil- file photo Speaking to Voice News Agency on Friday, John Akot, an Evangelist representing the group, said the union has chosen to conduct the workshop to empower the believers as well as local communities to embrace peace and justice. “We have been training youth for reconciling and unite them to bring people of South Sudan together spirit of God,” comments John. He stated that peace is an only way for current situation of the Republic of South Sudan.
